Here’s Your Pie

Just put the finishing touches on my latest film, “Give Me a Pie”; 1896 frames of painting and drawing on 35mm movie trailers. It’s on Vimeo right now for your viewing pleasure.

    Just excellent!

As with Vaca, this animation is best viewed at night with all the lights off so the artist complete control of color and light. We watched it several times last yesterday, and have the imagery stuck in our heads.

During the day today, as we went about our business, we would greet each other with:

    “Give me a pie!”

    “Give me a pie!”

One question. Near the middle of the piece, when a voice appears to be speaking gibbrish, are we hearing “Give me a pie!” backward?

Thank you Gina for another treasure!

Great fun! How’d I live on the planet for over 50 years without ever seeing this?

Still, your project has more layers of interest…. Thanks for sharing!
